Carrington, N.T., and others. The Teignmouth, Dawlish, and Torquay guide. Teignmouth: E. Croydon, 1829. p. 93.A few paces beyond the baths, secluded in a rocky enclosure, is the Ladies' Bathing Cove. And at a short walk farther on in the same direction, but of rather inconvenient approach, is the Men's Bathing Cove. The water at both places - the same too which supplies the warm baths, is singularly pure, no stream of any kind falling into it.[Text may be taken from a different source or edition than that listed as the source by Somers Cocks.]
