"[ ] The river now opened more fully, and a part of the harbour of Dartmouth appeared; the hills rose to a great height, covered with coppice wood, and terminated by the small town of Kingswear, opposite Dartmouth. On the other side were the woods of Mount Boon, the seat of Sir Henry P. Seale, Bart. Having sailed round a point of land, we had a full view of the harbour and town of Dartmouth; the castle commanding the entrance closed the view."[Text may be taken from a different source or edition than that listed as the source by Somers Cocks.]
