In pencil on verso: Shipbuilding yard now bus depot (1966). Known as Cox's Yard. Shipbuilding carried on before 1800 & closed in 1877. The smaller building on the right dates from 1919 when Hansen took over yard & from 1920-1923 produced 8 steel ships
