Publication Details
This College was founded in 1388 by Bishop Bryantyngham [sic], whose register informs us that he had "completed a public hall, private chambers, etc." for the use of the priest vicars of the Cathedral. The hall now standing was re-built in the 15th century. [This was written in 1911; the hall was burnt in the Exeter Blitz of 1942, and only the ruined shell of the hall survives today].
